Deputy Program Manager
**Description** As the **Deputy Program Manager** , you will oversee solutions and services that support and drive digital modernization in various areas, including systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, DevSecOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications. _*This contract is expected to award in Fall of 2025._ Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: + Lead and manage technical projects from inception through completion and ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity experts, data scientists, and other relevant stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions. + Work within a DevSecOps environment, integrating security practices into operational processes and ensuring the continuous delivery and maintenance of secure and efficient systems. + Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical projects, ensuring successful delivery of solutions. + Utilize Agile methodologies to manage and deliver projects, ensuring adaptability and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. + Maintain comprehensive project documentation and generate regular reports to track progress and outcomes. + Perform process analysis, process improvement and monitor/control processes. + Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support customer’s needs, clearly communicate (orally and written) ideas, take initiative to provide creative solutions to challenges and/or systemic problems. **Qualifications** + Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field of study. + Minimum of 12 years of experience managing Agile software development projects, including tasks of similar size and scope. + Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including the design and deployment of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. + Solid experience with hybrid or multi-cloud integrations and cloud migration methodologies. + In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes). + Expertise in enterprise network architecture design, including segmentation, load balancing, and network security. Desired: + Industry certifications such as PMI PMP, PMI-ACP, DevOps Certified Agile Service Manager, or equivalent certifications. + Proven experience providing strategic technical guidance to clients in support of digital modernization initiatives for mission-critical, user-facing systems, including AI/ML. + Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams, including coordinating employees across various labor categories and skillsets and cross-functional teams. + Proven ability to lead organic growth development efforts, including managing and writing white papers and capturing strategies. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consensus-building skills. + Familiarity with financial management tools for tracking budgets and resources.
