We are looking to hire a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to join Microsoft Federal.

**Responsibilities**
**Business Program Excellence and Execution**
Sets best practices to define and execute program success metrics. Drives the rhythm of business (ROB) to ensure participants and stakeholders are communicating and responding according to the necessary cadence. Drives others to work across teams (e.g., Contracts, Finance, Engineering, and Sales) to ensure all program requirements are understood and can be met. Leverages monthly business review revenue (MBR) to drive strategic and overall performance decisions with stakeholders.

Acts as a subject matter expert to evangelize program execution and metrics to stakeholders, partners, and customers to gain buy in. Leverages data and performance metrics to demonstrate the value of the program and show business impact. Drives others to adapt communication style and storytelling strategy according to audience and business needs.
**Program Management**
The Deputy Program Manager is an individual contributor and will have responsibility to lead and manage priority parts of Microsoft contracts. Oversees a portfolio of projects on contract including the project plan, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for crucial programs. Communicates the program status and risk to relevant stakeholders and holds them accountable for following the established schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes. Establishes objectives and success criteria for the project in an inclusive collaborative manner with all stakeholders.
The DPM will be expected to:
+ Work collaboratively with Sales teams, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure Microsoft is effective and compliant for all delivery on contract while also driving growth in Azure and emerging technologies on these contracts
+ Assess and refine Microsoft’s competitive position and Probability of Win (PWin) on potential task orders.
+ Increase the efficiency of PMO Operations. Seeks continuous improvement to scale support across programs.
+ Work with Engineering teams to define strategy and requirements to ensure client deliverables are on track and timely.
+ Manage internal and external communications and escalate issues within Microsoft appropriately.
+ Engage with customer contract holders and negotiate challenging requests. Drive toward mutually beneficial solutions.
+ Engage with partner ecosystem to expand Microsoft offerings and increase sales.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience managing large government programs.
**Other Requirements**
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government clearance.
Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
