Deputy Task Order Manager
**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Deputy Task Order Manager** to support an IT Service Management effort under the Engineering, Development, Integration, and Sustainment (EDIS) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) Task Order located in **Colorado Springs, CO at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB)** and other local installations. This program specifically supports the United States Space Force (USSF) Space and Systems Command (SSC) customer to provide common core hardware and software infrastructure for satellite command and control (C2) capabilities for the Dynamic Space Operations (DSO) mission thread. You will be responsible for seeing that requirements are met, support the PM in the overall management, direction, governance, administration, and operation of the Program Management Office (PMO), financial well-being (i.e. managing burn rates and funding variances for multiple CLINS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), staffing, Task Order (TO) Performance Work Statement (PWS), the Project Management Plan (PMP), and the Quality Management Plan (QMP). **Key Responsibilities:** + Performing activities and duties required for the PM if/when PM is unable to perform duties, including coordination with Government leadership, as necessary. + Overseeing and assisting with the management of the Program Management Office (PMO) to include monitoring staffing activities, managing training for the Program, and coordinating with program's Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Government SSO for employees with security clearance issues as directed by the PM. + Identifying programmatic and operational risks and mitigations, including staffing actions for current/incumbent/new staff, concept of operations, engineering designs, and sustainment of current mission partner efforts and systems. + Supporting PM as necessary with coordination, participation, and/or organization of all relevant customer and mission partner meetings. + Reviewing reports and deliverables prior to submittal. Ensures no disruption to ongoing services for each task area identified within the PWS. + Participating in required status updates to Government leadership and other stakeholders. + Reviewing and updating of the PMP, at least annually. + Participating in and supporting Technical Readiness Reviews (TRR's). + This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency customer or mission partner events. **Qualifications** **Required Skills and Experience:** + Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility (must be eligible for SCI indoctrination within first 3 months of start date) and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI + Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field plus 10 years of relevant experience; master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience + Five or more years of experience in management, ideally as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager. + Minimum 5 years’ direct experience in space systems, space command and control, or equivalent relevant disciplines including industry (development Contractor), DoD or other Agency (NRO, NSA, NASA, etc.) background + 5+ of complex satellite ground systems, or satellite operations + Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and creativity + Team player with a strong work ethic and initiative to perform in a cross-functional team. + Excellent communication skills + Ability to present clearly and succinctly to customers **Desired Skills and Experience:** + Comfortable working with multiple teams in collaborative, facilitative, and service roles in a dynamic environment + Willing to develop new skills and learn new tools + Seeks learning opportunities and continuous improvement + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills + Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, immediate team and other internal staff Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
