Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Deputy Zoning Administrator for our municipality customer located in Hampton, VA. This candidate will manage and coordinate day-to-day functions related to zoning appeals, development reviews, and support the Board of Zoning Appeals process. This candidate will also be responsible for the training of junior planners and report directly to the Planning & Zoning Division Manager. The salary ranges between $65,000 and $117,000 per year. Skills and Requirements 3-5 years of planning/zoning experience. Bachelors in Planning, Public or Governmental Administration, or Urban Planning. Knowledge of local zoning ordinances while successfully collaborating with other departments. Understand zoning regulations, look over zoning compliances with attorneys, while overseeing the training of younger planners. Experience providing review and analysis for commercial and residential site plans, building plans, and construction documents.
