Team Overview

Join our dynamic Technology & Operations (T&O) team, the backbone of BlackRock's worldwide operations across all asset classes and geographies. Within T&O, the Global Investment Operations (GIO) team plays a pivotal role in developing the firm's operating infrastructure to support BlackRock's investment businesses globally. As a member of the GIO team, you will gain intimate knowledge of all operational flows and processes, from architecting operational solutions to managing relationships with portfolio managers, traders, end clients, brokers, custodian banks, fund accountants, administrators, and more. Job Description

BlackRock is currently seeking passionate and driven Operations professionals at the Associate level to join our dynamic Derivative Operations team. The Derivative Operations team is responsible for handling, processing and managing BlackRock's Derivative activity, which includes Trade Confirmation, Clearing and Collateral Management of ETD and OTC products. Requirements

Basic computer literacy skills, with the ability to effectively navigate applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Windows.Derivative Operations experience preferred.3-5 years’ experience preferredNumerical proficiency and outstanding analytical skills, with a passion for solving problems.Natural curiosity, with a passion for learning about financial markets and new technology.An interest in or experience with coding languages (R, Python, Java, CSS, HTML).We consider candidates from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate the necessary competence, attitude, and eagerness to learn, and have the ability to develop extensive technical proficiency in this field.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
