The Dermatology Account Executive is responsible for closing new business in the specialized testing market (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, etc). The Dermatology Account Executive has call point ownership of large Dermatology physician practices and specialty clinics. The specialist teams work in close cooperation with physician and hospital account executives to support the collaborative selling model.
This is a field-based sales role supporting SW Florida territory including Bradenton, Ft. Myers, Naples and Sebring, FL.
Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis and consistent follow-upTarget and secure new businessProvide overall support and expertise to new & existing accountsIncrease discretionary business through insurance accessProvide immediate support for less complex issuesLeverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal, target lists; MarketingDepartment, Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed)Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products Prepare and present proposals and bidsEnsure compliance with company policies and government regulationsComplete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptlyMaintain knowledge of dermatology and melanoma market and Quest offeringsWork collaboratively with the DermPath labs to communicate customer and market trends/needsBuild relationships with the DermPath pathologists for customer engagement and communicationProvide MIPS solutions to customers Drive growth through robust pipeliningSolution development for TC PC work in dermatology settingWork collaboratively with the oncology account executive teamRecord all sales activities in SalesForce
Required WorkExperience:
Five years of experience in laboratory, healthcare, or diagnostic salesFive years of healthcare sales experience required in lab, diagnostic, or pharmaThree years of dermatology lab, diagnostic or pharma experience, precision medicine experience preferredStrong medical/scientific background and contemporary understanding of both genetics and molecular diagnostics testingDermatology Health sales or marketing experience preferredKnowledge:
Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economic businessSkills:
Strong planning & organizational skillsExcellent oral & written communication & presentation skillsSolid PC skills including Microsoft SoftwareBachelor's Degree Required
