It is currently seeking a Design Assistant. The purpose of the position is to provide a work-study program for undergraduates interested in continuing their education while simultaneously working part-time on a WYDOT design team. Selected candidates are provided with training in highway design's fundamental principles and techniques and actual design experience. They are encouraged to continue their employment with the Wyoming Department of Transportation upon graduation. This position has flexible work hours of 20-40 hours per week. Must work at least 80 hours per month. Cheyenne is a steadily growing community along the Front Range but still true to the history of the Old West.
