Design Assurance Engineer
Seeking a Design Assurance Engineer! Job Description We are seeking a Design Assurance Engineer to contribute to the development of a pivotal study. The candidate will support design verification and validation activities crucial to our innovative medical device. Responsibilities + Develop and maintain risk management documentation. + Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). + Perform data analysis using JMP, similar to Minitab. + Validate and document test methods. + Work through the risk management system and translate it into a usable format for the organization. + Integrate changes from the engineering side and evaluate their risk assessments. + Collaborate with suppliers on electro-mechanical components. Essential Skills + Risk management + FMEA + Design control + Data analysis + Root cause analysis + Design assurance + Experience with JMP and Minitab + Change management + 5+ years of experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in medical devices, automotive, or aerospace industries + Electro-mechanical background Work Environment This is a 100% on-site position within an extremely collaborative environment. Our client is developing a state-of-the-art device for treating prostate cancer, which has received U.S. FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its minimally invasive therapy.
