Job DescriptionAs a Design Engineer at Bosch Rexroth, you will be an integral part of our design office in Sydney and Brisbane, working collaboratively with a dynamic team. Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative concept and detail designs, contributing to the development of complete project design documentation for both internal and external clients. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring operational and cost efficiencies, maintaining high-quality and safety standards, and meeting customer delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts for heavy steel fabrications based on specifications and requirements provided by engineers.Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor and Creo) to create and prepare shop drawings for manufacture.Developing drawings and Bills of Materials from sketches and specificationsReview and modify existing parts/drawings, making corrections or adjustments as needed.Assist in creating 3D models and visualizations of designs when required.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that designs meet industry standards and specifications.Ensure all designs are accurate, complete, and comply with regulatory requirements.Following HSE procedures and reporting any incidentsCommunicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersManaging multiple projects and ensuring on-time deliveryAttributes we look for in a successful candidate:
