Purpose of Role: WEIR ESCO is seeking innovative engineers to join our Manila Engineering Design Team. As a Design Automation Engineer, will support the engineering group through the automation of engineering processes that will establish and maintain the CPQ catalog, product CAD modeling, managing price rules, product rules, search filters, and approval processes to ensure accurate and efficient pricing and configuration for the organization. We need engineers who will use their creativity to develop our next-generation solutions to support our strategies. Weir uses many world-class engineering tools and software to develop products.

Key Responsibilities:
Product CAD Design and Testing: Deliver product designs by participating in creating CAD models and proofs-of-concept, demonstrating solution functionality to stakeholders. Provide iterative testing to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot configuration errors.
Configure Price Quote Management: Setup and manage a complex engineering product catalog with advanced pricing logic. Maintain the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) catalog, including price rules and product rules. Establish and launch a change management process for collecting feedback and launching new features. Document procedures, changes, and compliance standards, employing automation as appropriate.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with team members and related teams to ensure transparency and coordinated efforts. Assist with end-user training documentation and demonstrations. Provide technical assistance to users, including customer service and manufacturing personnel. Utilize strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Performance Excellence: Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product offerings, while analyzing the performance metrics to identify success indicators that will highlight areas for optimization and efficiency gains.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all processes and product management. Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members and stakeholders.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or relevant experience (Engineering, Programming, etc.) in enterprise software implementation is preferred.
Experience: At least 4 years of design experience in the mining/construction industry or any related field. A blend of technical and business experience, with hands-on CPQ expertise; familiarity with Tacton.
Certifications/Licenses: Registered Engineer or any related field is a plus.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understanding of enterprise IT systems landscape, including integrations (ERP/CRM/PLM) SaaS Delivery. Knowledgeable in C# or any other programming language such as Python and C. Proficiency in NX CAD Modeling and CAD Automation.
