Job Summary:

Responsible for the analysis and design of the proposed solar photovoltaic systems at the customer sites, including preparation of the bill of materials (BOM) and estimated cost of the system build.

Major Responsibilities:

Evaluate and design the photovoltaic (PV) systems for potential solar PV site locations using Google Earth and PVSyst, Helioscope, or equivalent software. Coordinate with the Project Engineers regarding the data and report requirements to generate the required PV system design for customer sites. Review the proposed design in compliance with structural and electrical regulatory standards. Prepare a Bill of Materials (BOM) for each solar PV design. Coordinate with the Supply Chain team regarding material and installation costs, delivery schedules, and supplier requirements. Check regulatory updates regarding structural and electrical concerns and assesses the impact on current and future design builds. Check and update the terms of reference (TOR) for installers and solar component suppliers. Prepare build cost and other reports required for customer builds. Perform tasks and activities that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
