Description
**GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:**
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our MilAIR thermal products division. The Thermal Design Engineer position is a Non-supervisory role assisting in the development of HVAC systems using PTC CREO. Position will require working closely with the Thermal Engineer and Sr. Thermal Design Engineer.
**PRIMARY FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Generate Part Models, Assemblies using PTC CREO
+ Create and maintain detailed manufacturing drawings using PTC CREO
+ Develop and maintain bills of materials and data lists
+ Select appropriate materials/components based off service requirements
+ Enter Bills of Materials into ERP system
+ Perform drawing revisions with release under ERP ECN system
+ Work closely with customer, including occasionally presenting to the customer
+ Work closely with Senior Engineering staff to develop new designs
+ Work with assembly, manufacturing, and quality assurance departments to resolve issues
**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience
+ 5 years minimum experience in Product Design using PTC Creo software
+ Proficiency in Creo Sheet Metal
+ Experience in weldment design and American Welding Society (AWS) symbology
+ Experience in manufacturing and fabrication methods
+ Excellent computer skills including but not limited to all MS Office products
+ Must be energetic, highly motivated, self-starting individual, with a strong capability for self-learning and driven to complete projects.
**_PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS_**
+ Familiarity with HVAC or refrigeration systems.
**_WORKING CONDITIONS:_**
