Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks and aluminum machining to develop and manage mechanical components for marine equipment.

Requirements:

BS/MS degree in Engineering Minimum of 5 years professional experience High proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD modeling) Experience with PDM and ERP systems Hands-on experience with aluminum, welding, and machining processes Familiarity with CNC, lathe, and laser cutting equipment Understanding of GD&T standards

Preferred Skills:

Programming CNC machines Marine equipment design experience

Responsibilities:

Design and update mechanical parts and assemblies Provide feedback to junior engineers Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects Develop product quotes and support cost analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams for manufacturability Maintain project documentation using PDM and ERP systems Apply GD&T standards in designs and documentation

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
