Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer with expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering for feasibility analysis, cost management, and design improvement of automotive components.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE)

Over 5 years of engineering experience in component creation

Minimum of 6 years of related experience may substitute for the degree

Preferred Skills:

Experience with concept development, specification setting, and layout creation

Negotiation capability for design specifications

Responsibilities:

Conduct design feasibility and cost analysis

Perform strength calculations and material selection

Coordinate prototyping, fabrication, and manufacturing activities

Analyze components to meet or exceed quality, cost, performance standards, and regulatory requirements

Recommend cost-effective design modifications for testing and mass production



Pay Details: $40.00 to $46.00 per hour
