Designs truss components and truss repairs for MiTek customers and creatively solve engineering issues our customers have.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Creatively Design field repairs for truss components in accordance with acceptable engineering principles and judgment.Design truss components based on specified parameters from customers and use their knowledge of engineering and the building codes along with collaboration with other engineers in the office to ensure their designs protect the health safety and welfare of the public.Discusses design modifications and reviews appropriate design methodologies with customers.Assist, train and counsel customers in troubleshooting issues and design problems.Review results of the truss design software for accuracy and collaborate with other engineers and with the software development team to determine how the software should function.Collaborate with engineers, architects and building officials on customer component design projects.
