Partner with the best

As Design Engineer for Gas Turbine Stator Equipment team, you will be the owner to components mechanical design as a full discipline and, in details, you will be responsible for: 

Modeling, drafting, BOM and manufacturability of the designed components.

Execute the design through finite element analyses majoring on lifing assessment (e.g. creep, oxidation, wear LCF and crack propagation) and aero mechanics related topics (e.g. modal and forced response for HCF).

Direct involvement on test activities starting from purposes and requirements up to the cycle end with data match and models update.

Own cost models and should cost analyses.

Optimize and simplify the internal standard solutions along with design tools, promoting and developing new ideas.

Ensuring Site/Shop support (L3, NCR/SDR dispositions, field & testing issues)

Standard maintenance and fleet support (drawing updates, NCA/RCA).

Collaborate with global teams and other functions to meet the targets provided.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

Have MSc in Aerospace, Energetic, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

Demonstrated knowledge of turbo machinery or mechanical systems.

Good knowledge of CAD and CAE software (e.g. Ansys) along with at least basic programming concepts (Matlab and/or Python).

Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.

Show strong instincts, tireless research, exact attention to detail and innovative spirit.

Be target oriented, self-starter, autonomous with an entrepreneur’s mindset.

Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support.

Be fluent in spoken and written English.

EU Work Permit.

Would represent a plus:

Meaningful knowledge/experience in Turbomachinery design, with special focus on Stator equipment components mechanical design.

Knowledge of Heat Transfer and aerodynamics principles.

Competences in new digital technologies.
