We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in the following locations:

Asheville, NC Hickory, NC

What You'll Do:

Will be responsible for the design of overhead and underground electrical utility projects. This includes detailed construction drawings, an accurate bill of materials, and providing supporting documentation such as pole force loading calculations, voltage drop calculations and permitting when needed. You will periodically perform field visits to inspect infrastructure. You will periodically visit the job site to support pre-construction questions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited university. This position involves 25-30% travel which includes driving to project sites.  Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design is a plus. Familiarity with electrical distribution concepts would be beneficial.
