You will be responsible for designing multilayer MCM substrates and PCB layouts for cutting edge Drilling Services products. You will be responsible for full exposure to designing, developing and testing of new components and complete systems for harsh environment operations.

This will be a unique opportunity to join a cross-discipline team working with state-of-the-art technologies in the energy technology industry. Our projects are executed in collaboration with academia, government, and corporate partners.

You will be responsible for:

Taking ownership of MCM substrate and PCB design with Siemens Xpedition and Altium Designer

Creating of ECAD Library Symbols and Footprints

Working in the PCB/MCM group that designs PCB and MCM substrates for multiple project teams

Developing standard working procedures and design rules for Siemens Xpedition

Creation of the required manufacturing data and documentation

Improving of design standards and best practice for design for manufacturing (DFM)

To be successful in this role you will:

Have proven experience at MCM substrate and PCB design with Siemens Xpedition or similar tools

Have good knowledge of the manufacturing processes of PC boards and assemblies

Have decent experience at modifying electrical schematics with Siemens Xpedition

Have good understanding of electrical circuitry and applicable MCM substrate and PCB requirements

Have experience and knowledge of the functionality of ECAD Libraries

Have good skills at creating technical drawings and documentation

Be self-contained, self-motivated, and structured to work within a worldwide functioning interdisciplinary team

Have good written and verbal German and English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment
