Design Engineer-Valves

Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer specializing in aerospace valves for contract design, testing, and analysis of propulsion hardware.

Requirements:

Proficiency in P&ID, CAD software, mechanical design, and mechanical assembly Siemens NX and GD&T expertise Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Minimum of 3 years experience in valve or fluid system design-related role Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, structural analysis, materials, and processes

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with SMC-S-016 and S-080 standards Experience in DFM, FEA, valve and regulator design Knowledge of liquid oxygen and cryogenic operations Ability to model fluid networks and conduct component testing

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate full ownership of propulsion hardware throughout its lifecycle Deliver high-performance propulsion components Serve as the technical expert for internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf valves, regulators, and actuators

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
