Precipart is looking for a Design Engineering Intern to join our Engineering team. As a Design Engineering Intern, you will gain knowledge in the mechanical design of components and assemblies for medical and aerospace applications. Spring Internship Opportunity 12 Weeks: Monday, February 10, 2025 through Friday, May 2, 2025 Hours: 10- 20 hours per week Responsibilities: + To support the department in updating existing test equipment previously designed for Assembly + Assist the department in streamlining the current design process via automation of programs with Microsoft Office products and KissSoft + To support the department for time tracking analysis Requirements: + Preferred Major: Bachelors of Science, Mechanical Engineering + Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and design + Strong use of Microsoft Office suite of products ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint) + Programming experience in Visual Basic C++ would be preferred + General use of SolidWorks would be preferred
