**Job Description:**
We are a leading aviation infrastructure development firm dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art airfield projects globally. Currently, we are embarking on a prestigious airfield project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aimed at setting new benchmarks in aviation infrastructure. Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Design Interface Engineer** to join our project team in Riyadh, KSA. The Design Interface Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective coordination and communication among various stakeholders involved in the project, including contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal departments.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Establish and maintain clear lines of communication between different project teams, ensuring seamless coordination and integration of activities.
+ Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related issues and queries, facilitating resolutions in a timely manner.
+ Develop and implement interface management plans, outlining roles, responsibilities, and communication protocols.
+ Coordinate with external stakeholders such as airport authorities, government agencies, and local communities to address interface issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
+ Monitor progress and performance against interface milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
+ Conduct regular interface meetings and workshops to promote collaboration and alignment across project teams.
+ Provide leadership and guidance to interface coordinators and specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from a recognized university essential.
+ Master’s Degree is preferred.
+ Chartered Engineer status, PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
+ Minimum 8 years of relevant technical experience of significant large-scale projects.
+ Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly in aviation construction projects.
+ Profound understanding of construction techniques, geological considerations, and industry best practices.
+ Familiarity with Design and NOC (No Objection Certificate) process in the GCC/KSA preferred.
+ GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) experience preferred, KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) ideal.
+ Aviation experience is favorable.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces on complex projects, preferably airfield projects.
+ Strong understanding of project management principles, with experience in developing and executing interface management plans.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Familiarity with local regulations and standards applicable to aviation projects in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
+ Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
