What you will do:
We're looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus.Understand and adhere to design and drafting standard practices Work from oral or written engineering instructions, procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches Complete assignments and detect and correct own errors. Not responsible for supervising others Maintain competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company-provided training and materials Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures Some travel may be required to various locations to support products or train other personnel Work with minor independent judgment under close direction of senior staff. Work content and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members Moderate mobility required acquiring necessary information from other areas or departments. Occasionally required to lift materials for support of supplier development, product prototype, or laboratory build and testSupport VAVE / NPD project workReview orders to ensure they are error free prior to being built in the shopSupport ready to serve factory issuesAs we hire the majority of our full time positions through our intern & co-op talent, successful candidates will have an opportunity to interview for full-time positions.Where is the work:

What you will bring:
Must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechanical design from an accredited technical school requiredMust understand basic principles of designing equipment, drafting, and computer-aided design and apply principles to assigned tasksWorking knowledge of computer aided graphic system required, preferably Creo Experience with parametric design is preferred but willingness to learn is acceptableWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsMust be customer driven and quality minded in performing all assigned dutiesMust be able to function in a technical engineering team environmentMust have the ability to handle multiple, varied tasks simultaneouslyMust be able to adjust to changing demands, priorities and objectivesInternship Requirements:
This is a full-time summer internship between May and AugustFour hours of paid virtual orientation and training during spring breakTwo hours per week from March to April leading up to onsite internshipCompensation:
Salary range: $18/hr. to $21/hr. based on level of schooling.
