Memphis, TN **The Job You Will Perform:** + International Paper’s Design Internship is intended for Packaging degree-seeking students and will offer a personalized and diversified, on-the-job development while providing exposure to our company’s commercial business strategy & culture. Students will acquire real world experience as they are exposed to various areas of the commercial design organization and to provide efficient and effective design solutions to help drive IP’s overall strategy. + The internship will take place between May and August. Students will participate and be responsible for project work related to analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions that improve the performance of processes, with an emphasis on full customer satisfaction, safety and commercial excellence. Each location will have specified projects and deliverables that will be established prior to the beginning of the intern experience. + Design Intern reports to the Design Manager and will receive training to learn the trade of corrugated structural design.
