About this role

This architectural design studio has a focus on high-end quality projects across a diverse mix of sectors locally and internationally. They are currently involved with a landmark international project and are looking for an inhouse Design Manager to support their team. This will be an iconic project to have in your portfolio and a good learning opportunity for someone looking to work on something uniquely different. 
 

Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the internal design teams and liaise with global consultants and stakeholders for a large scale mixed-use project Coordinate with the design team to drive the design deliverables to ensure that design concepts meet clients' expectations, budgets, and schedules and cohesive design solutions are being provided. Review design documents, drawings, permits, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality expectations. Monitor project progress, value management and provide guidance and solutions to overcome any design challenges. Monitor the design output closely against the contract and ensure each project stage is invoiced for accordingly. 

Skills & Experience

Operating at a Senior level with a thorough understanding of contracts, in relation to delivering the design of large, complex projects. Detail-oriented, with an eye for design aesthetics and quality. Strong communication and ability to deliver information succinctly and concisely. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, engaging with a team
