We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** The **Design Manager** provides oversight to realize execution excellence in the delivery of all phases of detailed design projects under his/her direction. He/she shall be responsible for the technical excellence of the tasks and analyses performed, regulatory compliance, and for on-schedule completion of design projects within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. **What You’ll Be Doing”** + Work In close coordination with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director and others, lead and direct the efficient, professional analysis, synthesis, and recommendation of conceptual design alternatives to establish, communicate and sell the design vision for landscape architectural design projects. + Supervise the preparation, design and presentation of high-quality urban design concept drawings and reports. + Supervise the preparation of technical design packages through to tender and monitor construction quality. + Liaise with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, internal and external team members including master planners, architects, urban designers, specialist designers, all engineering disciplines and quantity surveyors. + Plan, program and delegate within the team structure and participate in workflow reporting and planning. + Provide high level liaison with Clients and Client’s representatives. + Participate in writing technical proposals, estimating levels of effort, work plans, and schedules as required. + Maintain affiliations with professional societies to keep abreast of development of trends and technologies. **What Required Skills You’ll Bring** + Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university + Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the architectural/engineering design field showing increasing levels of responsibility + Experience managing groups for established Architecture/Engineering firms or the client side + Experience dealing with UAE based municipalities and developers + Proven leadership and delivery ability + Knowledge of LEED and ESTIDAMA principles, certification preferred + Excellent English verbal and writing skills Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
