**Job Description**
**Turner & Townsned Heery** are looking to engage **Design Managers** specializing in aviation for upcoming opportunities.
Our design managers are responsible for overseeing design and providing the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance for our clients. As a design manager will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the design phase of aviation construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
+ Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to develop comprehensive design plans.
+ Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
+ Ensure all design work complies with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
+ Conduct regular design reviews and audits to maintain quality and consistency.
+ Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met.
+ Prepare and present design proposals and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
+ Monitor design budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
+ Identify and mitigate design-related risks and issues.
+ Lead and mentor a team of design professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
+ Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring professional growth and development.
+ SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
+ Minimum 5- 7 years of relevant experience working on large scale projects and programs
+ Prior aviation construction experience required- ideal project experience terminal expansion
+ Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
+ Effective presentation skills
+ Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
+ Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$175K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
