Job Summary
The Design Manager is responsible for the development of graphic art and visual materials for proposal and non-proposal documents. Ensures the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of design elements are consistent with corporate messaging and branding. Manages the complete proposal lifecycle relative to graphic art from Medicaid RFP release to proposal submission.
Ideal candidates will have graphic design experience in a regulated/government entity like managed care organizations.
Job Duties
• Ensures the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of graphics are consistent with proposal messaging and corporate branding. This includes creating the Proposal Graphics Guide for all RFPs.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as PowerPoint . Possesses demonstrated, high-level skills in layout and design. Offers relevant expertise in latest industry software.
• Reviews competitor's proposals post-award to analyze graphics and identify opportunities to improve our graphics.
• Assists in various non-proposal projects for the department.
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
3+ years of proposal management or applicable experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Program expertise in latest industry software (e.g., Visio, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, TechSmith Snagit, Adobe InDesign)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Proposal production/graphics experience
