We are seeking a self-motivated, ownership-minded, and nimble Design Program Manager to be a force-multiplier for the Amazon Business UX Design operation team, amplifying our efforts and impact. You will be a key member of the team, with the freedom to experiment, improve, invent, and innovate on behalf of tens of millions of customers around the world. This position requires the ability to work quickly, while delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of UX processes, razor-sharp project management skills, and is adept at navigating a complex, multi-org technical environment, while focusing on advocating for the customer at all times.

Key job responsibilities
- Optimize the day to day operations of the UX team by creating and scaling mechanisms and removing obstacles, coordinating reviews with stakeholders and leadership, and communicating team status.

- Manage internal mechanisms for the UX team including Town Halls, Showcases, and Extended Leadership meetings.

- Implement repeatable processes and tools to help the team plan, prioritize, and drive multiple high-priority parallel projects.

- Facilitate team operations of the team including: strategic planning, up-leveling team member training and knowledge share, workflow and processes, and collaboration approaches.

- Standardize, socialize, and continuously improve our user-centered design process.

- Enable creative solutions by leveraging design acumen, high judgement, and knowledge of business and customer experience best practices.

- Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our team.
