Design Program Mgt Engineer
Design Program Management Engineer + Manage and track Design's program deliverables and ensure all deliverables are met in line with Studio and program targets. + Ownership, leadership and management of Design delivery processes and procedures. Initiate improvements to processes to gain product quality, efficiency and timing improvements. + Facilitate/Co-lead AP regional appearance review forums. Support Global Appearance review forums as required. + Design program budget development, tracking and status reporting. + Administrator of procurement requests including ordering, receipting, resource planning and spending forecast. + Support program timing forums ensuring design requirements are supplied and understood. + Work with program team, Functional Engineering teams, Marketing and other functions to ensure target setting, compatibility and delivery is robust. + Interface with global design teams ensuring appropriate AP feedback is supplied during product development phase **.** **Education Qualification:** Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent **No. of Years of Experience:** 3 years + experience **Professional Exposure:** (Technical Skills) Ford Motor Company Product Development system **Preferred previous experiences:** Exposure working with senior leadership team. _Functional Skills:_ • 2 or more years of product development experience. • Program management experience is preferred. • Experience with Vehicle Development Process. • Experience with Design internal team coordination. • Fundamental understanding of design development process. _Behavioral Skills_ • Strong communication and team player skills and working with global teams abroad. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with cross functional teams. • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and ability to work under aggressive timelines and sporadic heavy workloads. • Possess sustainability against changing demand from internal & external business requirements. _Special Knowledge/Skills Required_ • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel. • Working knowledge of SharePoint development and security protocols. • Fluency in hosting and managing online/offline meeting or workshop. • Understanding of Non-Production Purchasing and Project Control system.
