In this position...

The Design Prototype Build Manager leads a team of both digital and physical modelers and fabricators in the development of multiple types of design intent models in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree in Engineering 3+ years experience in people leadership, leading a team that has delivered design prototypes High level of understanding the requirements for physical model development techniques Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with continuous change and a willingness to learn new skills   Proficient at creative problem solving Ability to understand engineering requirements and incorporate into physical models Knowledge of CAD systems, vehicle systems and geometry Computer skills and software knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience in Exterior / Interior design development on concept and production projects

Even better, you may have...

Master's degree in Engineering 5+ years experience in people leadership, leading a team that has delivered design prototypes Experience working on multi-million dollar design prototype projects

Lead complete staff of digital modelers to develop complete cad models of physical builds from limited data release / availability.   Lead the Creation complete 3D data for all systems related to property builds, including chassis, armature, body and component development. Lead the management and delivery of all timing plans, work orders and reviews for internal property builds. Lead the completion of all physical aspects of property builds and manage the interfaces of multiple assignments Lead all functional aspects of model builds – including closures, electronics and experiential demonstrations. Lead of professional scanning team Interface with all levels and functions of the Design team
