Job DescriptionCoordinate the design, development, and release process for exterior trim components such as bumpers and fascia within the automotive industry.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure that components comply with all technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.Support the lifecycle management of components from concept through to production, ensuring integration with overall vehicle aesthetics and performance objectives.Participate in testing and validation processes to assess the durability and safety of exterior trim designs.Work with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to create detailed design models and analyze stress points.Contribute to continuous improvement strategies to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure adherence to industry standards and environmental regulations.Maintain detailed documentation for design revisions and updates.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
