Job Description
Role/Programme:
As a Design Research Intern, you’ll join our Design team in the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career and make a meaningful impact. You will be joining us for 10 weeks in the summer (23rd June - 29th August 2025).You’ll be onboarded with the global internship cohort in one of our offices and learn the basics of being a Wiser.
In 2023, we founded a Design Interns programme and we’re delighted to welcome new talent to our award-winning team for a third season.
We are looking for rising stars to join our Design team. Design at Wise is a multidisciplinary team and we sometimes call it capital ‘D’ Design. While our craft is varied, human-centred design and design thinking unite us.
How You’ll Make an Impact: In this role, you will:
You’ll get to know Wise customers, building empathy and deep understanding of their needs
You’ll be honing and flexing your craft skills in a collaborative environment
You’ll be connecting with your sponsor, fellow interns, and the broader design community to inject fresh creative thinking into the business

You’re naturally curious about people and ready to question assumptions about people
You’re interested in building a career in User/Design Research
You have a good understanding of different qualitative and quantitative research methods and are interested in applying them in a commercial setting
You’ve been accountable during your studies for all or a part of a project from start to finish, and are able to talk about how you planned the research, picked your methodology, and your approach to data analysis
You’re able to clearly rationalise your decisions to other team members
You’re confident talking about key insights, learnings, and, if applicable, the impact of your work
