Job DescriptionThe Wiring Design Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising multiple concurrent design activities across multiple product programs.The Design Supervisor will supervise 15-20 Salary Bargaining Unit (SBU) Designer employees.Work with Designers and Engineers to resolve NX, TeamCenter and model translation.Prioritize workload and ensure 3D model accuracy and quality.At each CAD Step Design release Milestone, ensure WIRING Design Maturity and Integrity studies are complete and in compliance with no open issues (i.e., Dynamic envelopes, engine roll, closure swings, seat travel, sway bar, tire envelops, suspension cradles, Homologation, Regulatory, etc.).Verification of milestone releasing deliverables including coordination with partner organizations (Packaging, Body, Chassis, ePT, Powertrain, Engine Systems, MFG, etc.).Coordinate data transfer and translation to the supplier(s) organizations.Work with the GD&T Team and Patent Office to ensure timely updates to models/drawings and studies in support of Program milestones and level-2 (VP) review activities. 

QualificationsMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Other degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered.Minimum of 8 years' automotive design experience.Experience working collaboratively with a UNIONIZED workforce.Knowledge of product lifecycle management process.Minimum of 3 years of NX and Team Center experience.Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Project)Excellent communication /documentation skills.Ability to organize a project - basic program management skills.Demonstrated leadership abilities.Results oriented, energetic self-starting leader with ability to direct cross-functional teams.Demonstrated organizational, follow up and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
