Design Technician I

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Technician to join our team. Approximately 80% local travel._ **Key Responsibilities:** + **DOT Permit Packages:** Support the development of DOT permit packages by visiting project locations and staking proposed designs. + **Coordination:** Coordinate with DOT officials and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution. + **Documentation:** Complete permit documents and update permit drawings accurately and efficiently. + **Utility Design Projects:** Complete design tasks for associated utility design projects, including drafting and permit package development. + **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects to ensure timely and successful completion, resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of company/departmental goals. + **Safety and Standards:** Learn and incorporate company safety rules, design standards, and governing authority regulations into daily work and designs. Ensure all designs meet applicable safety standards, company distribution construction standards, and governing authority regulations. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma required. + Must have valid driver's license without restrictions. This position involves up to 80% travel within Mississippi which includes driving to projects sites. + Detail and quality oriented. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Technical certificate in drafting and/or Associate's degree in a technical field. + Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation. + Prior experience supporting general construction or utility projects. **Why Join Us?** At ENTRUST Solutions Group, we are a community of over 3,000 dedicated professionals committed to our clients and each other.
