Job DescriptionIn this internship opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Responsibilities:In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Working with experienced engineers to validate/develop RF products such as LNA, RF switches, Couplers, and integrated front-end module products.
Measuring RF products’ performance across supply, temperature, and frequency
Creating compliance matrices against spec, plotting results and analyzing data
Participating and presenting in data reviews
Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
Troubleshooting and resolving test/bench or technical issues
Collaborating with other engineers and technicians
RequirementsCurrently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering BS or MS/PhD program, and must be returning to school after the completion of this Co-Op
Must have the ability to do a Co-Op term of 6 months prior to graduation within the following time frames of Winter/Spring 2025 Co-Op Term (Jan 2025 – June 2025)
Must have knowledge in RF parameters (Gain, NF, insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, etc.)
Must have experience in using RF equipment such as oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources
Strong background in RF and Microwave designs
RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
Strong career interest in RF/microwave testing and engineering
Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge of coding is a plus
Good communication and presentation skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
