Our client that specializes in building wired connectivity solutions, is looking for a Design Verification Engineer in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:Review design specifications and devise verification plans.Build testbenches and analyze test failures to uncover design bugs.Lead, plan, and coordinate tasks with team members.Perform behavioral modeling of analog circuits.Facilitate bit-matching of RTL design and MATLAB system models.Integrate third-party VIPs for compliance testing of standard protocols.Build releases of design IP for customers.Support post-silicon validation and bring-up activities.Collaborate closely with Design, Systems, Analog, FW, and PD teams for final verification closure.Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in design verification.Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.Familiarity with Python, Perl, C/C++, and GNU Make.Ability to perform behavioral modeling of analog circuits.Experience in building testbenches and analyzing test failures.Experience in supporting post-silicon validation and bring-up activities.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge in Ethernet and PCIe standards.Experience with SerDes, DSP, and PHY.Experience with formal verification techniques.Familiarity with power-aware UPF verification techniques.Experience in integrating third-party VIPs for compliance testing of standard protocols.Contribution towards the continuous improvement of verification methodologies and processes.Work Environment

Join a team of 14 people on the Design Verification Team, working in a company with approximately 800 employees across Canada, USA, India, and Israel. The work schedule includes two days on-site, currently Tuesday and Thursday, with an 8-hour workday. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $70.00/hr.
