Our client, a leading innovator in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a highly skilled Design Verification Engineer with strong experience in formal verification methodologies. This role focuses on validating complex data communication systems using advanced formal tools and simulation-based techniques. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of high-speed data transmission devices that process and route internet traffic through optical communication networks.

Key Responsibilities:Perform formal verification of digital design blocks using tools such as Questa Formal.Validate connectivity and functional correctness of communication interfaces and data paths at various levels of the design.Analyze and prove properties related to signal integrity, data flow, and protocol compliance.Collaborate with design engineers to understand block-level functionality and define verification strategies.Debug and resolve issues uncovered during formal analysis and simulation.Interpret and analyze functional and code coverage reports to ensure thorough verification.Express verification requirements as both basic and complex properties.Work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.Technical Requirements:Proven experience with formal verification tools, especially Questa Formal.Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM for simulation-based verification.Experience with functional coverage concepts including coverage bins, cross-coverage, and report analysis.Familiarity with telecom protocols such as Ethernet, OTN, and other high-speed communication standards.Ability to understand and validate complex signal interactions and interface connections.Exposure to coverage closure techniques using both formal and simulation tools.Preferred Qualifications:Solid understanding of UVM components such as agents, scoreboards, environments, callbacks, and assertions.Strong analytical and debugging skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.Ability to quickly ramp up on new designs and tools, and remain focused under pressure.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
