Overview of the Designer, Email Creative Role
You will be responsible for designing and coding Rejuvenation brand emails, as well as occasionally collaborating with other Creative team members on design for other channels, such as digital advertising and site design.
Responsibilities
· Design original email layouts – take projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guide.
· Work on a variety of email campaigns and templates, including content, promotional, retail, and dynamically driven campaigns.
· Help develop and evolve process as business and creative needs change.
· Share ideas and best practices insights in meetings with cross-channel partners.
· Assist in developing strategies for new email functionality, efficiency and programs, and actively contribute to planning conversations and decision about functionality, new programs and design.
· Slice emails in Figma and make necessary edits after managerial approval.
· Use HTML to code emails in Dreamweaver.
· Manually update HTML files with latest creative assets based on last-minute business changes.
· Understand the Rejuvenation website’s navigation and sitemap for proper linking.
· Manage multiple projects from start to finish, including coding, QA, and design updates.
Criteria
· 3–5 years of digital design experience, preferably in retail brands.
· Demonstrated record of bringing new ideas to fruition.
· High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
· Thorough understanding of Figma workflows, file management, and asset delivery.
· Proficiency in HTML and Microsoft Office.
· Outstanding communication skills.
· Meticulous attention to detail and work well within tight deadlines.
· Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate challenges, and provide creative solutions.
· Familiarity with current online advertising practices and functionality.
· Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time four days a week and working from home on Fridays.
