Job Description:

Are you ready to take your design skills to the next level? We’re seeking a passionate and innovative Designer to work with world-class outdoor power equipment! If you’re eager to make a significant impact and drive cutting-edge designs, we want to hear from you! Come be a part of our dynamic team and help shape the future of outdoor power equipment!

This position is located in Brillion, WI.

THE DAY TO DAY...

Develop and supply technical information of high complexity such as 3D models, 2D detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent to other groups as required. These groups will include Design Engineering, Tooling, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications, and Industrial Design

Document and present technical information during design reviews, normally in the form of CAD model presentations and manipulations for viewing and discussion

Investigate problems and requirements of assigned projects and develop solutions in line with established project objectives

Support and may lead sub-groups of designers in technology developments that support multiple NPD and Innovation activities

Work with Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Engineering to help prepare component and tooling cost estimates

May delegate tasks to other designers and coordinate complex and multi-disciplined engineering projects from design concept to production implementation

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent required

Some experience directly related to the performance of the duties outlined

Demonstrated ability to actively mentor other engineers.
