In this position, you will develop complex CAD drawings of curtainwall systems and parts to be used in purchasing and installation of custom curtainwall systems/façade systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Creates curtainwall system shop drawings, including details and elevations. + Creates curtainwall field drawings including embed layouts, anchor and mullion layouts, tag plans, etc. + Creates curtainwall parts drawings, including unit assemblies, part models and bill of materials for fabrication. + Checks his/her own drawings for format, spelling, completeness, accuracy, and coordination. + Performs assignments which have a clear and specified objective and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. + Complies with Enclos company policies regarding CAD and drafting standards, as well as safety and security procedures. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + High school diploma with relevant work experience, or associate degree in Architectural Drafting, Mechanical, or Engineering, or bachelor's degree in architecture, mechanical engineering or in a related field. + Minimum 2-4 years of drafting experience in curtainwall industry required. + Ability to read architectural and structural drawings. + Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as geometry and trigonometry. + Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. + Ability to use CAD, Word Processing, spreadsheet, Email, and Internet software. + Experience in 2D or 3D modeling, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Inventor. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Ability to work with limited direction given, self-motivated to manage tasks. + Ability to work with fundamental drafting concepts such as line projections, as well as more advanced concepts such as managing external references. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. + Ability to solve problems involving several well-defined variables in standardized situations.
