What We Need: The Deskside Project Technician provides installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software complying with given standards and guidelines. This role is only eligible for our "Resident" persona. It is expected that this will be on-site 4-5 days/week. Day to Day: + Supports software standards and guidelines + Performs deployment of all desktop software and hardware + Responsible for supporting all desktop hardware and software projects + Maintains technical currency for all end user hardware and software + Responsible for supporting enterprise projects and supports stakeholders on execution + Assists in the configuration of software and equipment and the systems testing of platform-specific versions of one or more software products + Documents faults, implements resolutions and retests to agreed standards + Responsible for packaging and shipping equipment to new users + Update asset management appropriately regarding distributed and returned equipment What We’re Looking For: + 3+ years Desktop Support experience + Knowledgeable with MAC OS, Windows and MS Office + Proficient with Software and Hardware Deployment + Knowledgeable in MECM, InTune and Active Directory + VMWare and Print Technologies + Deploying standard images with Microsoft tools. + Security and Network knowledge + Certifications in prevalent technologies preferred + Knowledgeable in end user collaboration technologies + Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Familiarity with online shipping tools preferred.
