About the role

Insight has been engaged by our client in the energy sector for a Deskside Support Technician contract employment opportunity. We are seeking talented, experienced candidates for an initial 3-month contract employment opportunity where you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to end users, assisting them with a wide variety of hardware, software, and networking issues. You will be the ho-to person for all things pertaining to deskside support, fixing issues in a timely and efficient manner, while keeping detailed documentation of your work. You'll also be responsible for providing onboarding support to new employees and will work collaboratively with the infrastructure team on a regular basis.

 

Provide comprehensive IT support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving IT issues promptly and effectively. Maintain detailed documentation of support activities and resolutions. Assist in onboarding new employees and collaborate with the infrastructure team for seamless operations.

 

What we’re looking for

Minimum 3+ years of experience providing in-person deskside support, ideally in an enterprise environment Working knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, O365, Windows 10/11 Previous experience working with ServiceNow ticketing system Customer service oriented - Personality is key!
