About the team
Our Tech and Security teams keep us moving each day, no matter where we are in the world. From the hardware to the networks and everything between, they humbly make it all happen.
The Digital Workplace team within Worldpay Corporate Technology is responsible for the design, build and operation of Worldpay’s EUC environment, with associated infrastructure and support services. This includes physical, virtual and cloud desktop platforms, our corporate app store and software deployment, collaboration platforms and messaging, Active Directory, Intune, mobile and end-user support services. The team is relentlessly focused on delivering a great experience to Worldpayers, driving innovation, value and simplicity in all the services we deliver.
What you’ll own
Application Packaging: Lead the Application Packaging and Deployment team, manage the process of packaging and deploying approved applications using systems such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Bigfix.
Work closely with partner teams such as Security and Software Asset Management to ensure the end-to-end process from application request to application retirement is documented, agreed and followed.
Ensure that agreed standards and SLAs for new application tasks and incidents are being met
Follow an agreed Change Management process and manage delivery through the standard deployment mechanism, monitoring the deployment status and troubleshooting issues.
Create knowledge articles where appropriate to guide colleagues in finding quick solutions
Act as an escalation point and provide training and support to team members so they continually grow.
Continually evaluate and improve the lifecycle process for application delivery
Assist the team with managing and remediating EOL (End of Life) Applications and Operating Systems
Assist colleagues with highlighting Performance issues with applications and the OS, conduct benchmarking to report on planned alterations

Good understanding of packaging applications for deployment with Microsoft Intune. Knowledge of key packaging tools used to create MSI/EXE/MSIX applications.
Knowledge of scripting technologies such as Powershell
A good understanding of the Microsoft Intune structure and capabilities surrounding: Roles, Policy, Reports, Devices and Applications
Ability to guide a team on troubleshooting with Windows 11 and associated applications.
Experience with an IT Service Management tool such as ServiceNow to manage tasks, changes and incidents. Appreciation of the importance surrounding SLA and customer delivery.
Experience of managing a technical team, planning and assigning work, promoting positive change, coaching and evaluating performance.
An understanding of working in a locked down and controlled enterprise environment where collaboration with partner teams is crucial to the overall success.
