Desktop Architect
Job Summary Job Summary Designs, plans, develops, and implements technology as it pertains to the NRHS Desktop environment. Collaborates with department leadership and Architects team to determine project priorities. Identifies software and hardware needs based on NRHS strategic objectives, identified through ongoing assessment Routine maintenance Resource for department staff and key connection point for contractors, and vendor relationships. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree in computer science, or other Technical degree is preferred. Experience Three years of experience with Desktop Support. Experience with VMware Horizon, Virtual Center, Virtual Desktop (VDI), VDI connection points, physical desktops, master images, asset management tools, mobile device management (MDM), scripting, technical project management, preferred. Licensure/Certification Two exams are required for this position and can be earned after hired in with a signed Employee Agreement Form. First exam is either or CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Operating System Exam. Second exam required is an Advanced Microsoft Operating System exam or Manager approved Advanced CompTIA exam.
