Desktop Support Analyst
Description We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our client's Field Technician team. This onsite role requires 2+ years of experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting end-user technologies in an enterprise environment. The territory for this position supports Dane County. Key Responsibilities: + Repair and maintain thousands of desktops, laptops, and other PC devices. + Install new PCs and laptops to replace end-of-life equipment. + Manage inventory and properly dispose of outdated equipment according to company policy. + Maintain and close work orders in a ticketing system. + Provide expert-level technical assistance in support and preparation of desktop-supported applications and hardware. + Handle escalated support issues from the helpdesk. + Travel to various locations within the territory, with mileage and travel time covered. Technical Skills and Experience: + Extensive knowledge of desktop technology, including operating systems (Windows 10 and 11), desktop applications, hardware, laptop systems, and peripherals. + Experience with Microsoft Office 365, SCCM, Active Directory, and ChromeBooks. + Mobile phone support for both iOS and Android. + Familiarity with call tracking software, remote desktop management tools, and conflict resolution. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent customer service and communication skills (both oral and written). + Experience supporting a large user base (2000+). + Ability to install and maintain PCs, routers, hubs, and switches. + Proficiency in monitoring software/hardware for optimal performance and installing new hardware and software. Qualifications: + Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in desktop support within an enterprise-sized organization. + Ability to work independently and perform extensive troubleshooting and diagnostic work. + Comfortable entering correctional institutions as part of the job. + Valid driver's license and willingness to use personal vehicle for travel to various locations. Work Schedule: + Most field techs work four ten-hour days, but a five-day work week is also possible. + This role is 100% onsite supporting the Dane County territory. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
