About the role

As the "Front Door" to the Technology Team, you'll engage with diverse users and cutting-edge technologies, enhancing your technical skills and customer service abilities. 

In this role, you'll provide prompt support, boosting overall productivity and user satisfaction. 

Your problem-solving skills will be key as you navigate various technologies and expand your IT knowledge. 

This exciting position includes user support, participation in projects, and documentation.

 

In this key role you’ll: 

Provide 1st line support logging calls that require 2nd or 3rd line assistance. Actively prioritise incoming workflows and log job/work/project items in the appropriate systems.  Take responsibility for analysing the root cause of issues, Utilizing your problem-solving skills to effectively remedy or provide advice on the actions required to ensure the systems environment is fully operational.  Ensure infrastructure is maintained in a manner according to the Chubb Information Protection policy. 

 

 To be successful and grow in this role, you will ideally bring the following 

Familiarity with Windows 10/11. Skilled in installation and configuration. Understanding of user accounts and permissions. Proficiency in Task Manager and Device Manager. Knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS. Ability to diagnose common issues. Basic use of Command Prompt and PowerShell. Knowledge of Windows Defender and BitLocker. Familiarity with backup and recovery options.

 

Possess a keen understanding of technology and its application to address complex business challenges effectively. Exhibit a proven ability to engage stakeholders with genuine empathy and insight. Ability to cultivate an environment of open communication and collaboration, encouraging the sharing of innovative ideas. Ability to present a range of data-driven solutions, clearly outlining their advantages and disadvantages, while illustrating potential outcomes with compelling examples. Actively monitor the implementation of solutions, demonstrating a readiness to adapt and refine approaches based on actionable feedback from real-world scenarios.
