About our Team:

Our team in Mexico City provides comprehensive desktop support to both local and remote users within Mexico. We ensure that all users have the necessary equipment, including setting up and mailing laptops, and offer troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues. Our responsibilities also include managing inventory, supporting mobile devices, and engaging in various project work. We monitor and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure to address any operational issues and actively work to improve end-user device health. About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in desktop support, with a strong background in setting up and troubleshooting laptops and desktop systems. Our Specialist should possess skills in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and a basic understanding of software monitoring tools and backup procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide desktop support for users in the Mexico City office and potentially remote users within Mexico.Support users at other locations remotely when not busy with Mexico office tasks.Ready and set up laptops for local users and potentially mail laptops to remote users within Mexico.Troubleshoot and provide desktop and software support.Handle and track inventory, including purchasing equipment when necessary.Potentially support mobile devices like iPhones.Engage in project work, statistics, and metrics.Monitor, support, and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure for operating issues involving failures, degradation, and event correlation using various software and hardware monitoring tools.Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for all types of IT infrastructure as assigned — hardware, software, telecommunication, business application, customer connectivity, etc.Setup and deployment of equipment to end users.Actively improve end-user device health and expand proactive IT support by identifying and addressing issues.All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school degree, technical certifications, or equivalent work experience required.At least 2 years of experience in desktop support.Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.Experience in setting up and troubleshooting laptops and desktop systems.Ability to work five days a week in the office (not a remote position).Formal training or certifications, such as Apple certification, are highly desirable.Skills in hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.Basic understanding of software monitoring tools and backup procedures.Good problem-solving skills.Basic understanding of AI, Data Analytics, Copilot Studio, Power Apps, and Power BI.
