Desktop Support Technician
As the Desktop Support Technician , you will provide support to all personnel for all systems and network technical services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: · Administer desktops, phones, and software components including Active Directory and Exchange. · Support a wide variety of technical issues that can arise EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Or 4+ continuous years performing Service Desk functions · 2 years working Service Desk. · General knowledge of Windows OS CERTIFICATIONS: · DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification · CompTIA Security + or equivalent and one or more baseline certifications as outlined in DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: · Active Directory and Exchange knowledge · Familiarity with working in different security domains such as SIPRNET, NETPRNET, and CENTRIXS-K. · Understanding of Lifecycle management and Configuration management and use of different trouble ticket management systems. · Skills with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other multi-functional devices, and phones for troubleshooting purposes.
