Desktop Systems Administrator

Hamilton College is seeking a Desktop Systems Administrator (https://my.hamilton.edu/documents/Desktop\_Systems\_Administrator\_m3d3d27h\_39d.pdf) to join our team of dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable professionals within the Computing Services team. The Computing Services team, under the division of Library and Information Technology Services and the Technology Infrastructure Unit, is responsible for the support, maintenance, purchasing, deployment, advanced troubleshooting, and replacement of all college-owned computers and printers on campus.
This exciting role will provide exceptional service and support to our campus community, ensure operational excellence of critical infrastructure, and in collaboration with a diverse group of others, contribute to the design and engineering of stable, secure, and scalable technology solutions.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a pay range of $70,000 - $85,000.
A successful candidate should possess a combination of the following:
+ Technical Support: Proficient in providing computer support across mixed environments, including Windows and MacOS operating systems, desktops, laptops, iPads, and managed printing solutions.
+ Customer Service Excellence: Proven track record of delivering exceptional and timely customer service (higher education settings preferred, but not required)
+ Systems Administration: Extensive administrative experience with enterprise-level systems management tools including Microsoft Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, JAMF, data backup services, antivirus solutions, and print management.
+ Knowledge Sharing: Skilled in documenting and disseminating knowledge effectively to team members.
+ Technological Adaptability: Capable of researching and developing expertise in emerging desktop computing technologies and industry trends.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
