Description Our healthcare client is looking for 4 desktop field technicians to assist in installing and configuring workstations and peripherals as part of their go-live with a new ambulatory building in Wantagh, LI. The technicians will be responsible for unboxing and imaging the equipment at a facility in Hicksville, and then deploying and configuring to the Wantagh Ave building as well as 2 other physician offices in Valley Stream and Rockville Centre. Candidates will need to install and configure Windows OS workstations, install and configure printers including map the printers, install other peripherals including monitors, scanners, credit card readers, e-signature pads, etc. Most of the work will be done during a standard work shift (Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm) BUT there could be work scheduled outside of the normal hours throughout multiple locations depending on the availability of the physician practices for the deployments (starting earlier in the morning certain days and/or starting later and working later other days). Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. The client is looking for someone who can think on their feet, push through obstacles, and doesn't need to be told every task they need to complete.
